Des Moines shoppers will have one less Price Chopper store in the metro after the location on Merle Hay Road closes Sept. 18.

Des Moines Register: Des Moines shoppers will have one less Price Chopper store in the metro after the location on Merle Hay Road closes Sept. 18. DGS Acquisitions, the company that operates Iowa’s Price Chopper locations, announced Wednesday that the location at 4343 Merle Hay Road in Des Moines will close permanently. The closing leaves two remaining Price Chopper stores in Des Moines, at 1819 Beaver Ave. and 3425 Ingersoll Ave.
