The Principal Charity Classic announced that it will accommodate 5,000 attendees per day at the 2021 golf tournament, which is scheduled June 1-6 at Wakonda Club in Des Moines. The decision to limit daily capacity was made in conjunction with local officials, the organization said. The daily limit “will allow us to prioritize the health and safety measures of all participants, honor all tickets held for last year’s tournament, and make a limited number of additional tickets available for sale to the general public,” officials said. The tournament and the PGA Tour have established extensive COVID-19 health and safety measures in accordance with CDC guidelines. Ticket prices begin at $20; proceeds benefit nearly 100 charities that receive tournament donations each year. Ticket information is available on the Principal Charity Classic website.
