The Principal Charity Classic is taking one of its annual events off the green. Networking “Off” the Green will be held Tuesday, June 2, at the Meadows Event and Conference Center in Altoona. Participants will have the opportunity to sharpen their networking skills by connecting with more than 30 Des Moines business executives. Currently, 11 of those executives are women, including Mary Sellers, president of United Way of Central Iowa; Kristi Knous, president of the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation; and Beth Brady, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Principal Financial Group Inc. Registration begins at 3:45 p.m. and the event kicks off at 4:15 p.m. Registration and more information is available online.
