Volunteer registration for the 2023 Principal Charity Classic is now open. The Principal Charity Classic raises funds for organizations that support the education, culture, financial security and health of Iowa kids. Last year the event raised a record $8.2 million for charity, and it has given more than $45.6 million since 2007. This PGA Tour Champions event will take place at Wakonda Club in Des Moines June 1-4 and needs over 1,000 volunteers. Volunteer opportunities include on-course marshaling, player hospitality, merchandise support, shuttle driving and more. Both golfers and nongolfers are welcome. Each volunteer must work a minimum of two shifts of four to six hours and make a $59 donation to support Iowa children’s charities.
