Principal donates to 82 charities
The Principal Financial Group Foundation has awarded $634,500 to 82 local health and human service programs in Iowa.
Mary O’Keefe, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said in a release it is important for Principal to invest in its employees’ community because it helps the company retain talent and “makes for a great place to live – and work.”
Some of the organizations receiving funding included Des Moines Health Center, Prevent Blindness Iowa, WesleyLife Community Services, Youth Policy Institute of Iowa and ISED Ventures.
