Principal Financial Group Inc. donated $3,000 to Civic Music Association, the arts nonprofit organization said. The grant will be used to support its 2012-2013 concert season and Partners in Music Education programs.

Enriching the community through music education is a large part of the organization’s goals. Each season, Civic Music contracts guest artists to conduct free educational events in the community for students from local schools, colleges and universities as well as the general public.
