Shopping at the Habitat ReStore on Friday, May 15, will help families affected by the earthquakes in Nepal. According to a news release, all proceeds on this day will go toward emergency shelter kits and other disaster relief through Habitat Nepal. Also, Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity tithed a portion of its financial resources to the Nepal organization. If individuals want to do more than shop in support of this cause, cash gifts may be made at ReStore. One hundred percent of all gifts will be forwarded to Habitat for Humanity Nepal.
