The city’s current police headquarters will undergo a $4 million renovation to create a command center for the fire department.

According to an update provided to the City Council this month, interior slabs in the sally port drive and vestibule hallway are completed, plumbing has been roughed in, and masonry walls are being installed. Duct work is also being installed, according to a report from Ryan Cos.
