Pulitzer winner to appear at Simpson on Thursday
Journalist Sonia Nazario, who won a Pulitzer Prize for her story documenting an immigrant Honduran boy’s search for his mother, will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday at Simpson College. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Hubbell Hall I in the Kent Campus Center at Simpson. The story, “Enrique’s Journey,” appeared in the Los Angeles Times and later became the basis for a best-selling book of the same title. Read more
