The Greater Des Moines Music Coalition will host the Americana Unplugged Brunch Fundraiser at Americana Restaurant & Lounge, 1312 Locust St., on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Any guests who tell their server they support the coalition and its mission will have 10 percent of their bill donated to the music coaltion. A number of local musicians will play without amplifiers or microphones. Funds raised will support the 80/35 music festival, Little Big Fest, Gross Domestic Product and Music University.
