Realtors: Local housing market ‘stable’
Homes in Des Moines sold last month for an average of $166,838, up $8,800 from October, according to a report by the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors (DMAAR). According to statistics compiled by the association, 514 contracts were written in November and homes were on the market for an average of 118 days. There were 5,450 active listings during the month.
