Reception features art created by families experiencing homelessness
Family Promise of Greater Des Moines (FPGD) is hosting an art reception to showcase art pieces created by families, mostly children, who are current or former guests of the organization, FPGD announced. Art will be exhibited through February at the FPGD headquarters in Westminster Presbyterian Church, which is one of 14 metro faith-based partners with the organization. The reception will be held Feb. 16 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. More information and RSVPs are available online.
