Recovered from West Nile, Menary returns as CEO of Grinnell Mutual
Grinnell Mutual announced the return of Jeff Menary to the company and his formal appointment as president and CEO. In March 2017, Menary had been named as successor to Larry Jansen, who retired in December. However, Menary was diagnosed with West Nile virus in September and spent nearly seven months in rehabilitation. In the interim, Dave Wingert, executive vice president and chief operating officer, served as president. Menary has held numerous roles with Grinnell Mutual in his 38 years with the company, most recently executive vice president of line operations. “We are all excited to have Jeff back and for his leadership at Grinnell Mutual,” Wingert said.
