The World Food Prize announced that registration for the 2018 Borlaug Dialogue is open. The annual event, scheduled Oct. 17-19 in Des Moines, will convene a diverse array of scientific experts, policy leaders, business executives, development researchers and farmers to address the most critical issues in global food security. This year’s Borlaug Dialogue theme, “Rise to the Challenge,” refers to the challenge of sustainably and nutritiously feeding the more than 9 billion people who will be on the planet by 2050.
