Iowa Women in Agriculture will host its 12th annual conference Aug. 2, and those interested in attending may now register for the event. The one-day conference will take place at the FFA Enrichment Center at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny. It will features several keynote speakers and breakout sessions, during which speakers will address the unique challenges of women’s roles in agriculture, as well as offer opportunities to network and learn from one another. Participants also can attend a pre-conference tour of the Louis Dreyfus ethanol plant and a welcome reception at Geisler Farms on Aug. 1. Registration for the conference is $50 until July 22 and $70 after that date. Register online or at the conference.
