Women interested in running for elected office, serving in appointed office or becoming more involved in community leadership can register now for the final day of workshops of this year’s Ready to Run campaign training program. These workshops, scheduled April 19, will discuss communicating with media and voters, in addition to campaigning online. Workshops will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $25 per person. Ready to Run is offered by Iowa State University’s Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics. More information is availableonline.
