After a one-year hiatus, Jazz in July will kick off this week at Hoyt Sherman Place with a free performance on the front lawn by the Sam Salomone Quartet on July 11 at 6 p.m., followed by Charmin Michelle inside on the theater stage. The concert is the first of three performances planned this month for the revived jazz series through sponsorships by Principal Foundation and Faegre Baker Daniels.
