Retired Navy officer to talk national security, Iowa energy tonight
Tonight, retired U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Dennis McGinn will talk about national security and Iowa’s energy future at Drake University.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Bulldog Theater in the Olmsted Center, 2875 University Ave., and is free and open to the public. McGinn served for 35 years in the Navy as a naval aviator, test pilot, aircraft carrier commanding officer and national security strategist.
