Valley View Village in eastern Des Moines has completed its $13 million health center after a year of construction. The 70,000-square-foot building offers private and semiprivate suites, with 20 memory-care beds, 20 skilled-care beds and 39 long-term care beds. A ribbon-cutting is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at 2555 Guthrie Ave. in Des Moines.
