Ribbon cutting Thursday for zoo’s Bankers Trust Learning Center
Bankers Trust Co. and the Blank Park Zoo will have a ribbon cutting for the zoo’s renovated Bankers Trust Learning Center at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the zoo, 7401 S.W. Ninth St. Highlights of the $40,000 renovation include more interior space; restored classroom, restroom, storage and children’s wash areas; new, natural lighting; refurbished walls and floors; and improved electrical and heating and cooling systems.
