The Iowa Transportation Commission has approved a $501,452 Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy grant for road improvements tied to a $165 million expansion at Burke Marketing Corp. in Nevada, a subsidiary of Hormel Foods and a manufacturer of cooked meats. The project is expected to create 158 jobs. The completion date is October 2019, according to a release.
