Rockwell Collins shareholders vote to approve acquisition by UTC

Shareholders today voted in favor of United Technologies Corp.’s acquisition of the Cedar Rapids-based company. Ninety-six percent of voted shares were in favor of the acquisition. Farmington, Conn.-based UTC plans to buy Rockwell in a $23 billion deal. Including Rockwell’s debt, the acquisition is valued at $30 billion.
