Rose named director of public relations for ChildServe

ChildServe has named Jordan Rose to the newly created position of director of public relations. In that role, Rose will build and maintain relationships to further the organization’s image and reputation, oversee high-level strategic and external communications, and provide strategic guidance and support for community relations efforts. Rose joined ChildServe a year and a half ago as director of marketing and community relations and most recently was public relations counsel. “This position is a new and imperative role for ChildServe, as we continue to focus on increasing our external visibility, enhancing strategic partnerships, and maintaining our positive reputation – all with the ultimate goal of helping children with special health care needs live a great life,” said Dr. Teri Wahlig, ChildServe CEO. Before joining ChildServe, Rose was a senior communications adviser with Wixted & Co. She is a Pella native and a graduate of Central College. Based in Johnston, ChildServe provides health care services and support to more than 4,600 children across the state each year.
