West Des Moines-based R&R Realty Group this week announced plans to develop 100 acres in Sarpy County, Neb., as a speculative warehouse development. R&R Commerce Park South, located on the southeast corner of 156th Street and Schram Road, will eventually include six buildings with a total of more than 1.3 million square feet of space. A 286,000-square-foot warehouse is scheduled to be completed by October, and in December a 151,840-square-foot warehouse is scheduled to be completed. “We’ve seen a significant demand for flexible, modern and technologically advanced warehouse space over the past few years,” Mike Homa, president of R&R Realty Group’s Nebraska division, said in a prepared statement. “R&R Commerce Park South is being built for those modern users who want to grow in the Omaha area.”
