Run Like a Mother event going statewide with ‘Virtual Run’
To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the annual event, Run Like a Mother — a fundraiser for the Iowa Women’s Foundation — will go statewide this year with the introduction of a Virtual Walk. The event traditionally included a 4-mile walk in Cedar Falls, but the switch to a virtual walk will make it easier for women across the state to get involved and support IWF, according to the event’s web page. Run Like a Mother, which is organized by Cedar Valley Chicks for Change, will be held May 12. Learn more online.
