Salon 4700, a member affiliate group designed for those interested in more in-depth engagement with art and the Des Moines Art Center, will host an event called A Conversation With Creators. The event, scheduled for June 17 at Fitch Art Studios, will give patrons a look into three artist studios and a chance to hear those artists speak about their work, method and style. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment will follow in the studio of Rick Lozier. Guests are also invited to participate in an interactive art project. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $40 for Salon 4700 members and $50 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased online. Space is limited, so RSVPs are requested by June 5.
