The SBA’s Iowa District Office is now accepting nominations for the 2023 National and District Small Business Week Awards, including the annual Small Business Person of the Year Award. Iowa District Small Business Week categories open for nominations also include: Small Business Exporter of the Year, Minority Small Business Champion of the Year, Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year, and Women in Business Champion of the Year. Nominations are also being accepted for various Phoenix Awards for Disaster Recovery, Federal Procurement Awards, and Awards to SBA Resource Partners. Nominations must be received electronically no later than Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. Visit the SBA’s dedicated website at www.sba.gov/nsbw to download forms, criteria and guidelines for submitting a nomination.
