Scholarships were awarded recently to students in the Iowa State University College of Design by the American Institute of Architects, Iowa. The 2020 AIA Iowa/AIA National Diversity Scholarship was awarded to James Arnold and Henry Melendrez-Corado, both in their fifth and final year at ISU. Both received a $1,000 scholarship. The 2020 AIA National/AIA Merit Scholarship was awarded to Mia Tiric. The fourth-year student received a $1,000 scholarship. The 2020 William M. Dikis Scholarship was awarded to Mercedes Cooper and Cody Goedken, both of whom will received $625. Cooper is a second-year student in the architecture program and Goedken is a third-year student. The AIA Iowa Scholarship was awarded to Emma Bontrager, who received $800. Bontrager is a second-year student.
