Science camp offers full-ride scholarships

Kim Reynolds announced Thursday that two Iowa high school seniors will win full scholarships to the National Youth Science Camp in West Virginia from June 27 to July 21. The students will exchange ideas with scientists and other professionals. The camp includes lectures, camping in the Monongahela National Forest and a visit to Washington, D.C. The selected delegates must not only demonstrate academic achievement in science, but also leadership potential. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. Feb. 28.
