Science Center of Iowa offering free admission on MLK Day
The Science Center of Iowa will offer free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Visitors will be able to experience all of SCI’s exhibits and programs, including recent updates to the “What on Earth?” exhibit and a new planetarium program called “Reach for the Stars.” Free admission on MLK Day is made possible with support from the Principal Foundation. The center will then be closed Jan. 21-24 for its semiannual maintenance and cleaning week. SCI will reopen with regular hours at 10 a.m. on Jan. 25.
