Setka joins city staff
The city of Des Moines has hired longtime Des Moines public relations exec Al Setka as communications manager. Setka previously was news director at WHO, communications director for Great Ape Trust and a trainer at Wixted & Co. His career spans three decades. “Al brings a wealth of experience that will drive invaluable improvements to the city’s communications efforts,” said Jen Schulte, director of government relations and communications. Setka started his new job this week.
