Silent Rivers to host community event
Silent Rivers Inc., which does business as Silent Rivers Design + Build, is promoting a free neighborhood project that will include a night of art and music on July 18 behind Roosevelt Shopping Center on 42nd Street in Des Moines. Focused on identifying what “Home Is” to the community, Silent Rivers is asking participants to use words or drawings to identify what the phrase means to them. Scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., the event is open to community members of all ages.
