Silicon Prairie expands to Kansas City
Silicon Prairie News is holding an expansion party in Kansas City tonight after launching into the city as a third coverage area in mid-February.
The company started in Omaha in 2008 and expanded to Des Moines in late 2009.
“We think the Midwest can be kind of a hub for innovation,” co-founder Dusty Davidson told the Kansas City Star. Silicon Prairie runs a website where it promotes small technology companies through blog posts and videos.
