Des Moines Register: Legends American Grill in downtown Des Moines closed Sunday after 12 years on Court Avenue. The new owner is longtime Court Avenue businessman Larry Smithson, according to son Jason Smithson. Larry Smithson was unavailable for comment and it’s not clear what he plans to do with the street-level space.
