Smooth landings from McClure
McClure Engineering Co. received two awards from the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa, including the association’s Airport Runway Smoothness Award for its work on a $5.6 million rehabilitation project on a Fort Dodge Regional Airport runway. McClure also was named the APAI Consulting Engineer. The Clive-based engineering company worked with the airport and Fort Dodge Asphalt Co. to complete the job in 90 days to accommodate a scheduled Honor Flight for World War II and Korean War veterans.
