West Des Moines-based Social Money, which helps financial institutions, merchants and other financial service providers, announced a partnership with The Bancorp Inc.

Starting in 2013, Social Money will help The Bancorp Inc.’s 300 clients create turnkey, federally insured savings accounts that can be tied to prepaid programs and electronic wallets.

The products also will gather data on future spending, increase customer engagement and retention, cross-sell products, and drive brand awareness through social networking.
