The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced the lineup of insurance, technology and government leaders who will headline the 2022 Global Insurance Symposium, to be held in Des Moines on April 19-21. The theme of this year’s GIS is “2030: The Future of Insurance.” Among program highlights of the symposium will be a CEO panel featuring insurance leaders Rob Berkley, W.R. Berkley Corp.; Dan Houston, Principal; Margaret Meister, Symetra; Terry Rasmussen, Thrivent; and Kirt Walker, Nationwide. The Global Panel on Geopolitical Risk, Trade and Inflation will feature Terry Branstad, former U.S. ambassador to China and Iowa governor, and John Sitilides, a principal of Trilogy Advisors LLC. New events will include an inaugural Student Case Competition, in which three finalist teams will present at the symposium, with the winning team to be selected by attendees.
