Spindustry to lead social media workshop

The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau will hold a social media workshop from 9 a.m to noon on Nov. 3. The workshop, sponsored by Spindustry Interactive, will feature roundtable discussions covering things such as social media monitoring and integrating social media into a marketing plan. The event will take place at the Windsor Heights Community and Events Center, 6900 School St. Tickets are free for convention bureau members and $15 for nonmembers, and can be purchased by calling Jan Meyers at 699-3442 or by emailing her at jmeyers@desmoinescvb.com.
