State budget forum set Jan. 4
Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds announced this morning that they will hold a public forum on the state budget on Jan. 4 at the Capitol from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Branstad said in a release that he and Reynolds have held 41 public departmental budget hearings since Nov. 23. The event is free and open to the public; those attending should enter the Capitol through the south entrance.
