150 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawThe Iowa Department of Revenue is reminding businesses that some existing tax accounts are migrating onto the new GovConnectIowa platform. Beginning Feb. 4, the eFile & Pay system will not be available for filing sales, use and withholding taxes, and users will be required to create a new login in GovConnectIowa to access and make payments on their accounts. Individual income and corporate income tax payments can continue to be made in eFile & Pay, the agency said. However, future dating of payments is not available in eFile & Pay, and payments must be submitted on the desired day of processing. Later rollouts in this multiyear project will simplify processes for corporate income taxpayers, individual income taxpayers, local government tax equalization and distributions, among other changes, IDR said when GovConnectIowa was announced in mid-November.
