State tax payment withdrawals delayed one day
Because of technical difficulties, taxpayers who scheduled their Iowa tax payment to be electronically withdrawn from their bank account on April 30 will now see that payment withdrawn from their account on May 1, the Iowa Department of Revenue said. The department has a record of the original withdrawal date requested and these payments will not be considered late, officials said. Taxpayers do not need to take any further action regarding this issue.
