KW Commercial broker Jared Husmann is helping a Steak N Shake franchise operator find land for the dine-in or drive-and-dine restaurant in Greater Des Moines. The popular restaurant currently operates in Coralville and Davenport, but has yet to enter the Greater Des Moines market. Husmann said the operator has a first preference of the Jordan Creek Town Center area (who doesn’t?) but is also considering locations in Waukee and Ankeny, Husmann said. The 84-year-old Chicago-based operation is noted for its steakburgers and hand-dipped milkshakes.
