Stelter Co. hires Durnin as client strategist

The Stelter Co., a planned-giving marketing firm based in Des Moines, recently hired Renee Durnin to fill the newly created position of client strategist. Durnin, who has more than 20 years of experience managing national direct mail campaigns, most recently worked for the Gabriel Group in developing customized fundraising programs for nonprofits across the country. The creation of the client strategist role is in response to the growing need among Stelter clients for a deeper level of strategy and consultation, the company said in a news release. In her role at Stelter, Durnin works directly with the company’s key nonprofit clients, such as UNICEF USA, American Heart Association and World Wildlife Fund, to improve their planned giving results through a data-driven, analytical approach. She will also provide training and support to the rest of Stelter’s clients and staff. “With the amazing growth that Stelter has made in recent years around our client engagement, client experience and tailored solutions, this was the perfect time to bring Renee into the fold,” said Nathan Stelter, the company’s president.
