Stephen Orr named editor-in-chief of Better Homes and Gardens
Stephen Orr, current executive editor of Conde Nast Traveler, has been named the next editor-in-chief of Better Homes and Gardens, Meredith Corp. announced Wednesday. Orr will succeed Gayle Butler, who after 30 years with Meredith will retire in June. Butler has been with Better Homes and Gardens since 2006. Orr has held senior content creation leadership positions at multi-platform brands such as House & Garden, Domino, Gourmet, Bon Appetit and Epicurious. Orr is relocating with his family to Des Moines, where he will be based.
