StorageMart picked up its 21st Greater Des Moines location when it paid the local owners of Waukee Storage Masters a total of $5 million for adjoining properties on Northeast Ventura Drive. According to a release from the brokers on the deal, Bellomy & Co., the Waukee facility has 462 climate-controlled, drive-up and parking units. Bellomy represented the seller and found the buyer. StorageMart is based in Columbia, Mo., and has 201 self-storage locations worldwide. The brokerage has offices in Atlanta, Austin, Texas, and Houston and has a team focused solely on the self-storage industry.
