Succession announced at SVPA
SVPA Architects Inc. said today that Steven Gray retired March 31 as president and has been succeeded by Vitus Bering, who had served as vice president and chief financial officer. Gray joined the company in 1977, and he became a stockholder in 1982 and president in March 2005. Bering has been with the company since 1998. West Des Moines-based SVPA was founded In 1953 by Robert Savage and Stanley Ver Ploeg.
