The certification, which the organization awarded in late January following a three-day audit earlier that month, verifies that the company has the personnel, organization, procedures and equipment to consistently produce high-quality grain bins, steel buildings, support structures and tower dryers. The Sheffield-based company is one of only a few bin manufacturers to achieve the certification. Sukup operates six distribution centers in the Midwest; its products are sold throughout the U.S. and Canada and in more than 80 other countries. “This certification highlights our commitment to putting the customer first and placing a top priority on continuous improvement,” said Steve Sukup, president and CEO of Sukup Manufacturing.
