The first-ever Summer Startup Tour wraps up today with an event that begins at 4:30 p.m. at xBk Live. It closes out a monthlong series of free events to welcome entrepreneurs, creators and makers back to the community. It marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Startup City Des Moines incubator, a public-private effort focused on growing the region’s early-stage technology community. The schedule for today’s event is:

• 4:30 p.m. – Happy hour and networking.
• 5 p.m. – Welcome and panel featuring Tobi Parks, owner of xBk Live, Station 1 Records, and attorney for Sony Music; Tim Thelen, owner of BiLT Guitars; Jo Allen, photographer at JoVisuals; and Brandon Darner, musician, founding member of Envy Corps and producer (Imagine Dragons and more).
• 6:30 p.m. – Live concert featuring the Finesse.
