Central Iowa Surgery,  a Des Moines-based surgical practice, has joined Iowa Health Physicians and Clinics, effective Feb. 1.

The practice’s two physicians, Dr. Steven Goldstein and Dr. Jamie Patel, are both board-certified general surgeons and will remain in their present clinic location at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., Suite 304, in Penn Medical Place.

Goldstein and Patel perform surgeries at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Methodist West Hospital, Surgery Center of Des Moines (east and west locations) and Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.

They also provide satellite clinics in West Des Moines, Prairie Trail Family Physicians in Ankeny and Madison County Specialty Clinic.
