Survey: More executives leaving work at office
More executives will leave the office behind while on vacation this summer compared with previous years, according to a recent survey.
The survey, conducted by Robert Half Management Resources, found that 51 percent of chief financial officers will not check in with the office at all while on vacation, nearly double the figure from a similar poll in 2010 of 26 percent.
The survey was conducted by an independent research firm and includes responses from 1,400 chief financial officers from a stratified random sample of U.S. companies with 20 or more employees.
